মূল নিউজ: Bangladesh Public Service Commission is likely to publish the circular of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination soon for recruitment of 1,200 first class officers and teachers. Reliable sources said the ministry of public administration has already finalised a list of vacant posts under various cadres and sent a summary in this regard to the Prime Minister for her approval. After the premier’s consent, the public administration ministry will give approval to the PSC to publish the circular of the 37th BCS examination, a ministry source said. An official of the ministry said the circular of the 37th BCS examination for recruitment of about 1,200 officials and teachers in various cadres is likely to be published in February. It has been learnt that 200 officials would be recruited in the administration cadre, 20 in the foreign service cadre, 100 in the police service cadre, 225 in the health service cadre and 270 in the education cadre through the upcoming BCS examination. Earlier, Syed Ashraful Islam, Minister-in-Charge of the Ministry of Public Administration, told parliament on November 17 last year that the circular of the 37th BCS would be published in January 2016. It may be mentioned that the PSC published a circular of the 36th BCS examination for recruitment of 2,180 officers and teachers on May 31 last year and took preliminary tests of the candidates on January 8 this year. The PSC is set to take the viva voce of the successful candidates of written examination of the 35th BCS from January 31 onward, sources said. The PSC will recruit 1,803 officials under various cadres through the 35th BCS examination. The PSC published results of the 34th BCS examination through a recommendation of appointment of 2,159 officers under various cadres on August 29 last year.
