If you are applying to a direct entry program (no previous university experience required), you can select up to three programs on one undergraduate application.

Our students come from all over the world and bring their experiences and perspectives to our campus community. At Dalhousie, you will join nearly 1,400 international students from more than 110 countries.

As an international student, you’ll benefit from our international student societies, on-campus advisors and specialized programs and services. Staff and volunteers at the International Centre host fun and informative orientation programs and cultural events, and provide a welcoming lounge, as well as referral and advising services related to immigration, health care, finances, travel and personal matters.

Scholarships

International high school applicants entering first-year studies are automatically considered for scholarships. To be eligible, you must submit your completed application including your transcripts and any necessary supporting documents by March 15. For more information on scholarships, visit Money Matters.

Professional programs at Dalhousie

All Dalhousie professional programs require previous university study for admission.

Half the students in Dalhousie’s professional programs completed their initial undergraduate work right here. At Dal, you’ll have access to senior students who can talk to you about your own future academic plans.
