Major Responsibilities - Plan and manage to implement entire power systems from installation to operation to ensure no/less interruption in all Banglalink offices including call centers, customer care centers, IT data centers, BTS and MSC shared sites, Headquarters etc.
- Guide team to execute Preventive & Corrective Maintenance programs of all power and electro-mechanical equipment’s (i.e. Substation, Generator, Automated Voltage Regulator (AVR)
- Ensure agreement, follow-up & vendor management to ensure in time quality servicing and troubleshooting of all power equipment’s
- Ensure inventory management and keep stock of emergency Spare parts to provide prompt support to the users and follow up of submission of warranty claims to vendor
- Contribute to develop & implement new techniques and process to make ease & optimize way of day to day operational and maintenance work
- Plan, Manage and coordination of regular and periodic Maintenance program of all HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning System) units (i.e. Chiller, Air Handling Unit (AHU), Fan Coil Unit (FCU), Automation units, Indoor and Outdoor AC units) troubleshooting and manage vendor to ensure smooth HVAC operation of all offices including call centers, customer care centers, Headquarters etc. within the approved budget
- Manage and ensure inventory and warranty management and keep stock of emergency Spare parts of HVAC system to provide prompt user support to improve efficiency; Ensure in time quality services and troubleshooting of all accessories of HVAC system and agreement management in related to HVAC system
- Facilitate urgent on-site support to overcome and minimize downtime
- Plan, Manage & ensure safety operation of all Electro-mechanical equipment’s, conduct training to ensure health and safety issue to vendor’s people and support staff also monitoring and follow up to ensure zero injury and equipment life cycle
- Prepare training plan and gap analysis among team members and support staff also Conduct Risk Management analysis considering environment, health and safety aspect also develop safety procedure to ensure smooth operation
- Manage project plan and ensure the implementation by Managing project team, contractors and sub-contractors for the installation and commissioning of CAPEX projects related to power & maintenance (Sub-station, HVAC systems etc.) within the approved budget
- Analyze technical evaluation, monitoring and subsequent recommendations for onboarding qualified suppliers
- Conduct site survey before proceeding for any installation; Prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Design Single Line Diagram (SLD) and ensure implement accordingly
- Oversee the activities of EHS unit to ensure EHS guidelines and procedures are updated and implemented
- Manage to ensure periodic safety audit is done in relation to HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk assessment) and implement the required actions to mitigate possible risk
- Ensure the activities of In-house medical services catered for employees are carried out as per policy both in routine and emergency cases
- Organize the health and safety programs in accordance with management
- Ensure emergency plan and procedure in relation to accident/incident, evacuation, emergency patient management, accidents recordings and further procedures are carried out in accordance to company policy
- Monitor the performance of the EHS vendors as per SLA and take required actions to improve/enhance customer service
