Mission Statement of HHL

“We educate effective, responsible and entrepreneurial business leaders through outstanding teaching, research and practice. We are driven by excellence in teaching and research to benefit our students, stakeholders and society. Our academic quality is underscored by our global outlook and a lifelong premier service and support network.”

Already today, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management receives more inquiries from recruiting departments of leading companies than it has graduates. This is evidence of the demand for HHL’s claim of excellence and, at the same time, implies a call to further intensify its qualified management education. For HHL as one of the world’s leading business schools this means preparing more young people for tomorrow’s management challenges, under the same excellent conditions as today.

Help shape the first class education given to tomorrow’s leaders by supporting HHL’s goals. True to tradition, we prosecute a claim of excellence setting a high value on the sustainable education of capable and responsible leaders for tomorrow’s world.

The Employer Relations / Career Service department is responsible for contacts at all levels between HHL and companies (work experience and other placements, sponsorships, alumni contacts and field projects). This is where all the relevant information comes together that can be used in the career advice given to students on all courses of study.  And conversely, students are also introduced into companies, with the result that the companies receive regular information about HHL.

We see our role as that of a connecting link between HHL and the business world, between research and professional practice, between students, alumni and potential employers.
The HHL Student Body

The HHL student community is made up of around 400 students from all backgrounds and interests, making for great synergy and networking. The “world class” consists of:
